Eliminator is a weapon in Gravity Rush 2. It is a unmanned quadrupedal mecha that is used as the "secret-weapon" of the Jirga Para Lhao military, the Garrison.

While obviously a formidable foe for any ground based troops, or even ships, it is more easily dispatched by Kat due to the weak points on its arm, legs, and back, which contain some kind of radiators or power cores.

Characteristics[]

Armament[]

These giant mecha are armed to the teeth with powerful and destructive weapons. They are armed with dual machine guns on their front shoulders that can be fired independently or simultaneously. On the top, towards the back and on the left side they also have a mounted laser cannon that shoots out a powerful long ranged energy-beam. Mounted on the opposing side is a giant missile launcher that unleashes a barrage of heat-seeking missiles that deals enormous damage. The Eliminator can also drop a cluster of small bombs by rearing up and smashing its front feet onto the ground.

Weaknesses and Combat[]

As with all of the Garrison's other machinery, the Eliminator has a giant generator on its backside; however, unlike the manned machines, its core is concealed. Though impenetrable at first, the generators on its arms and legs can be destroyed to expose its larger generator.

Destroying the generator on its legs also puts it in a staggered state, though it is still able to launch a variety of attacks that you need to be wary of, particularly the bombs they deploy. The machine gun firing may be its most used attack, but it is slow enough to easily be outran on foot. While the missiles are extremely dangerous, they move quite slowly as well, meaning they can be avoided with minimal effort, and they can be deflected by an upgraded Stasis Field. The laser beam, while its strongest attack, is not too troublesome as its telegraphed with a slow start up that allows you to predict where it will fire, but you will still need to be wary of the side swaying the machine does while using this attack. As the bombs they deploy (while standing) are restricted to the ground space and are only used by them when approached, it is recommended to simply back away the moment it rears up.
