Gravity Rush Story

Spoiler warning!
This article contains spoilers about part of Gravity Rush.

Personally my favorite part about Gravity Rush was the story. Something about the characters and the way that they are developed throughout the game was so fascinating to me.

Regardless of how much I enjoyed the story though, the game ended with so many un answered questions. I was often puzzled as to who Kat was, what the whole deal with this Hekseville world was, what the real significance of the pillar was, who in the world Alias was and why it seemed like he was Syd, and so much more. I kept playing though, assuming these things would be thoroughly answered at some point in the game. Then the credits rolled, and I felt myself somewhat dissapointed because I wanted so much more. Don't get me wrong, I loved this game, and its because I enjoyed it so much that I can't help but want more.

So what do you guys think about the story and maybe some speculation you have regarding various un answered things? I think its clear that Kat used to be a queen/princess of some sorts. I think she used to be a queen of the world at the top of the pillar, and lived in that castle you can see at the start of the game as it zooms in on the apple. It then says "There was another way. That's all I remember." I'm thinking this points towards some sort of disaster that Kat was facing and going down the Hekseville and losing her memory was the only way to fix the problem, which we still don't know.

A Gravity Rush 2 has to come at some point and answer these for us. The mysterious couple offers some odd information as the the gravity rush universe, that makes me want to know the whole truth.
